Reaching Through to You – Oil on Panel 12" x 16" – December 28, 2014 This painting was executed by following the instructions of an "inner voice." Everything worked fine as I applied the initial dark layers, but when I tried to copy a vision from my mind, my active mind heard: "No, think Iris." When I followed the instructions, the paint seemed to apply itself to the canvas and my hand just went along with it.
